Luminary has been a Certified B Corp since 4 March 2021.
Read our 2023 Impact ReportEver since Luminary began, back in 1999, we have strived to use technology to make the world a better place. In the beginning, our focus was on creating products to make people’s lives better. Over time we have evolved, and so too has our focus.
As we move into our third decade in operation, our guiding mission is to 'make digital bright and the human experience brighter'. People are still at the heart of what we do, but the planet is now also very much a part of the equation.
B Corps are a new kind of business that balance purpose and profit, making a positive impact across their workers, customers, suppliers, community, and the environment. For Luminary, the decision to undertake the rigorous process to become a B Corp was a natural extension of the path we were already on. It’s also a way to ensure that we continue to stay the course, to use business as a force for good.

Our people
Our success as a business starts and ends with our people. We support our team to work remotely, empower them through coaching and remove barriers to help them achieve and thrive. Our people make extraordinary things happen because we give them the space and support to bring out the best in themselves and each other.
I'm really proud of our certification as a B Corporation, an initiative that recognises businesses balancing purpose and profit.
Our community
We are all connected. So when we help others, we can’t help but feel good too! 😉 Whether that’s by getting behind our awesome charity clients, or sponsoring an award celebrating big ideas that will make the future a better place, we always look for ways to help out, lighten the load and brighten the path of others. We also have a Volunteer Leave policy that provides our team members with a day of paid leave to volunteer for an organisation of their choice.
Our world
We treat our planet as though it were precious, fragile and irreplaceable. As if our lives depended on it. Luminary is carbon neutral and dedicated to a greener, more sustainable future. We plant trees and care for our environment so that we can all breathe a little easier.
