Mario is an experienced .NET & Optimizely developer, and an Umbraco MVP.
Mario began his career as a 3D and motion graphics designer, later transitioning into freelance programming. After moving to Australia from Spain, he started learning .NET and C# and became an expert in Umbraco.
He has been an active member of the Umbraco community ever since, and since 2021 has held the title of Umbraco MVP. He has developed a number of Umbraco plugins, written articles, mentored emerging Umbraco developers, and helped to organise UDuf – the Umbraco Down Under Festival. Mario is also a member of the Umbraco Community Package Team.
Mario is also an experienced Optimizely developer having worked on some of Luminary's largest Optimizely implementations.
Mario prides himself on focusing not just on the user experience of a CMS but also the editor experience, an area he feels is often overlooked.
