Marty is the CEO and founder of Luminary.
Marty founded Luminary in 1999, combining his qualification in human resources and his interest in the then fledgling digital industry. Since then, he has worked with hundreds of companies on countless projects across most industries. He has also played a significant role in shaping the Australian digital landscape, including as a keynote speaker at conferences here and abroad, and as a former director of auDA, the industry body for .au domain names.
Marty is passionate about the future of digital, agile ways of working and the effectiveness of distributed teams. As the CEO of Luminary for over 21 years, he goes out of his way to create exceptional experiences for our people, our clients and their audiences.
He has started and been the Director of several companies and charities. A committed humanitarian, Marty has sat on a range of boards and contributes to several community projects. In the last 2 years he has founded an environmental foundation called Redux that focuses on reducing plastic that enters the ocean in Bali.

Marty was run over while on a bike doing a paper round on his 14th birthday and as a result had the dubious title of the youngest recipient of WorkCover in Victoria (at the time).
