Hailing from Toronto, Shayna is an accomplished SEO practitioner, having held many SEO focused roles both in agencies and client-side. Her experience extends across NFP, tourism, retail/e-commerce, FMCG and financial services. She specialises in technical and on-page SEO, but has a particular affinity for search insights projects and the wealth of quantitative and qualitative insights they can provide. Her career highlights to date include winning a data-led content strategy award for her work with Tourism Australia and sitting on the board of a non-profit organisation.
In her spare time, Shayna likes to take burlesque classes, hit the gym, donate blood, and brainstorm her next holiday. Her stress management technique is to have at least one holiday planned and booked at any given time. If she wasn't working in SEO, she says she would design haunted houses for a living. Shayna has been in Australia since 2012 and in that time has lost neither her accent nor her love of poutine.
