Andy Thompson

CTO

BE (Mechatronics), BCS (Melbourne)

As our CTO, Andy heads up our developer teams, platforms and technology strategy.

Andy also goes by the titles of Chief Geek or King Nerd, depending on whom you ask. He started as a web developer back in 2002 while he was studying Mechatronics Engineering and Computer Science at uni. Since then, he's been a Front- and Back-End Developer, Solutions Architect, Tech Lead, Traffic Manager, Tech Director, Strategy Director, and CTO (aka Director and Head of Technology). Basically everything except Designer.

He specialises in solving the most complex challenges with the right blend and application of technologies, and getting the most out of a team of awesome developers. He has been a  Kentico MVP since 2015, and is also a Kentico Certified Marketer. In his spare time he likes to exercise, hang out with his kids, watch action movies, and automate every last piece of his house (and life).
