Marya Bautista

UX Designer

Marya is UX designer who is passionate about understanding the customer and focused on removing bias and assumption.

Marya uses her role to advocate for underrepresented groups and design digital experiences that matter. She enjoys undertaking research to deliver inclusive and accessible solutions. WIth a background that includes working at Code for Australia, Black Dog Institute, and the Centre for Social Impact, she has experience in trauma-informed research, co-design, accessibility and strategic design.

Among her career highlights has been designing the Vibe Up app for the Black Dog Institute for university students experiencing psychological distress. Her time designing for the legal-tech sector also gave her the opportunity to co-design web tools that empower people to understand their rights.
